E-Scooter and E-Bikes around Highwood Copse Way, Greenham

Issued: 29 Apr 2026

Status Update

We’re continuing to tackle the unsafe and illegal use of e bikes, e scooters and mini motos in the area. Patrols have been increased, and we’ve met with the local college to address concerns and promote safer behaviour. Our NHPT team has recently seized a mini moto, and enquiries are ongoing to identify others involved. Moving forward, officers will continue regular high visibility patrols and will be carrying out targeted checks at key times and locations to identify riders involved in illegal or dangerous activity. We’ll also be working closely with residents and businesses to gather information, follow up on reports, and take further action where needed to keep the area safe.

Drugs use and dealing around Brummel Road

Issued: 29 Apr 2026

Status Update

Officers have been conducting regular targeted patrols to provide visibility, deter offending, and identify those involved. These patrols have already allowed us to gather useful intelligence and engage with residents who have shared their concerns. As part of our continued work, we will also be holding a Have Your Say event in the area. This will give members of the community the opportunity to speak directly with neighbourhood officers, raise concerns, and share any information that may help us address the issue further.

Anti- Social behaviour reports involving youths around Wash Common Recreation Ground

Issued: 29 Apr 2026

Status Update

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team have been carrying out regular, high visibility patrols, and these will continue—particularly as the weather becomes warmer and the area becomes busier. We are engaging with young people in the area, speaking with residents, and working closely with partner agencies to address the concerns raised. Where necessary, stop and search powers have been utilised and will continue to be used proportionately and lawfully to prevent crime and keep the community safe.
